Parent-Child Coaching

Irrespective of creed and culture, the parent-child relationship is considered to be sacred.  Unspoken words paint a picture of a close-knit bond, inseparable, compassionate and warm, loving, reliable, unconditional, dependable and nurturing.

Except this isn’t always the case. When asked about the parent-child relationship, people use the words such as rejected, fragile, disappointed, not heard, misunderstood, unloved, feelings of blame, guilt and shame creep into the mind.

Do you feel like this?

Is there conflict that prevents you from sharing good times?

Are you a parent who has recently been divorced, and need to reconnect with your child ?

Do you feel judged and unable to express how you truly feel?

Are you fearful that the relationship has eroded? Do you feel abandoned?

As one of only 12 UK certified mother-daughter coaches, I can help.

Certification attained from Mother Daughter Coaching International, based in the United States. This equips me with the toolbox required to work in any parent-child relationship.

As a parent-child coach my role is to be a facilitator to allow each person in the parent-child couple to have a safe space, free from fear and judgement.

With my Restore and Revitalise coaching programme, our aim will be to give you back the relationship that you had when times were good and empower you to build on the foundations of that relationship and inject renewed vigour and empathy.

In that space, a parent-child couple can be heard and understood. Over the course of coaching you will learn to understand your emotions and uncover generational patterns of harm.

You will learn to effectively communicate, voice unspoken wards, feel empathy and create new connections with a bespoke roadmap for change. Common triggers for conflict will be explored and ways to abandon feelings of blame shame and guilt will be forged.

You may wonder if it is essential to have coaching sessions as a parent-child couple. This is not essential, it's perfectly possible to have coaching as either a child or parent on a one-to-one basis with me.

As a couple, each coaching session lasts 90 minutes and in order to provide a full course of coaching a minimum of six sessions is expected.

For solo parent-child coaching, each session lasts 60 minutes and likewise in order to provide a full course of coaching a minimum of six sessions is expected.
